Drawn Together MTV

Drawn Together is an American adult animated television sitcom that aired on Comedy Central on October 27, 2004. It was developed by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein. The series is a spoof of The Real World, and it follows the antics of the roommates in the fictional programme of the same name, using a comedy style in a reality TV show setting.

The primary characters of the programme are a mash-up of personalities that were well-known and well-liked previous to the start of the series. Drawn Together, on the other hand, employed caricatures of well-known cartoon characters and stock characters. Furthermore, their character qualities mimic personality types commonly observed in reality television shows.

The characters participate in challenges that are similar to reality TV challenges in some episodes, but the premise is largely dropped in later episodes. Comedy Central advertised it as the first animated reality TV series, and in some episodes, the characters participate in challenges that are similar to reality TV challenges.

The show was cancelled after three seasons. Following that, The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie!, a direct-to-video feature and series finale, was released on April 20, 2010, to a mixed reaction.

Why Drawn Together is Trending?

Drawn Together is trending because the cartoon show was first aired on MTV and today, 2 August MTV turned 40 year-old. So, people are being nostalgic about watching Drawn Together on MTV 40 years ago.

Captain Hero (voiced by Jess Harnell) is a chauvinistic, perverse, and lecherous spoof of Superman and other superheroes, with a visual style inspired by Bruce Timm and Max Fleischer’s cartoons. He represents the macho egotist among reality TV stereotypes. Hero has the most appearances and character development out of all the characters in the series.

Foxxy Love (voiced by Cree Summer) is a promiscuous mystery-solving musician who is a sharp-tongued spoof of Valerie Brown from Josie and the Pussycats. She is the embodiment of the feisty black lady.

Ling-Ling (voiced by Abbey DiGregorio) – A homicidal spoof of Pikachu from the Pokémon franchise, who battles using various supernatural powers/abilities (similar to anime) and speaks in pseudo-Japanese gibberish (or “Japorean,” as Ling-voice Ling’s Abbey DiGregorio refers to it) with English subtitles. He is the culturally befuddled outsider.

Princess Clara (voiced by Tara Strong) is a spoiled, pious princess who parodies Disney princesses such as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She is the image of a naïve daddy’s girl.

Spanky Ham (voiced by Adam Carolla) is an arrogant spoof of Internet Flash cartoon characters that is sex-obsessed. He embodies the raunchy party beast.

Xandir P. Wifflebottom (voiced by Jack Plotnick) is a hypersensitive, overly emotional, and effeminate parody of video game heroes such as Link from The Legend of Zelda series. He is the participant who is both geeky and homosexual.

Toot Braunstein (voiced by Tara Strong) is a 1920s sex icon who expects to be the center of attention, slashes herself with razor blades when unhappy, and frequently causes domestic strife. She is modelled after Betty Boop and depicts the manipulative and obese person.
